Jobs/Roles in the ECE Community National/Federal

The first organization that sparked my interest was the National Association for Family Child Care. The reason I choose this organization is I am a family child care provider. One of the goals of the association is to be a support system for individual family child care providers through strenghting the state and local association.

One job that interest me was an accreditation  specialist. I am qualified for this job because it requires at least a bachelors degree in Early Childhood. They also require experience working in a early childhood setting.

The second organization that I decided to select is the National Dissemination Center for Children with disabilities. The reason I selected this organization is there focus is to provide information on children and youth ages birth -22.that has some type of disability. This website was a wealth of information  for me.

To become an early intervention specialist I would need to continue my education and become a special education teacher.
